*The Maple Heights Teachers Association encourages high qualifications for entrance into the teaching profession; promotes teacher participation in school management; aids in securing and maintaining tenure, adequate salaries, sound retirement systems, and other such improvements in conditions as will act as vital factors in educational progress.

*The Maple Heights Teachers Association strives to promote, encourage and assist other local organizations of classroom teachers and to promote cooperation among such organizations and their members.
